Pelagic thresher shark

Present year-round; the constraint is time of day, not month. Cleaning-station visits decline significantly from morning to evening. Sighting probability on a given dawn dive is high but not guaranteed, and surface conditions cancel more dives Jun-Oct than the sharks do.

No formal closure. Typhoon risk runs roughly May-Oct and sources disagree on how badly it bites: DAN says avoid Jun-Sep, Divernet calls Mar-Sep the most stable window, and one field account calls the Jul-Dec rainy season mild. Occasionally seen at Pescador Island, described explicitly as luck rather than a product. If threshers are the goal, Malapascua on the other side of Cebu is the destination; do not confuse the two.

No closure. Both sources put the optimal window at roughly November/December to May; Jun-Aug stays good with fewer people; Sep-Nov drops in visibility and carries typhoon risk, which is why those months read 'limited'. The sardines are there regardless.
